Hi everyone,
New member here. Have been a long time car enthusiast and have just recently jumped on the Toyota bandwagon to find myself a nice fun celica turbo. Having looked further into celicas, I have developed a soft spot for the ST165 specifically and am on the hunt for a clean example to get started on and build to original specs with the exception of minor cosmetic and performance upgrades to make it my own.
If you're looking to sell a well sorted example, or know of someone who is, feel free to let me know.
I look forward to being an active member of the celica club and offer my findings and support on these fantastic drivers cars.
Catch you all around :)

    Welcome! I too like the ST165 though I haven't owned one yet. I've had a ST185 and currently have a ST205 though wouldn't mine having a 165 too!
There aren't many around though I had a look on Carsales for you and there is one there. I'm not sure how good it is so make sure you have a good look at it before you buy.

Prices are starting to creep up due to them being rare.

Hey there Bud. They're a fantastic car; a real driver's choice for the retro car lover. I actually had the pleasure of looking at and driving that exact car. It was fantastic and drove quite well, however it needed a little bit of work that I didn't have much time to fix up. The guy selling it was a great bloke and told me outright what sort of little issues it had and what could be improved upon.
For the price he is asking it is an absolute bargain, and if I had the time and room to get it all done myself, I would've snatched it up on the spot. I'm pretty much looking for one that is well sorted with all the major bits and pieces completed as I don't have much space and time to work on it myself at the moment. It's a big ask seeing as theyre quite hard to come by in un touched condition, but I'm determined and I have to be patient.
Thanks for taking the time to have a look, and do let me know if you happen upon another one any time.
    :)
