headers/extractors for 5S motor

hi guys   the bloody std exhaust manifold  has cracked  so   time to  put headers/extractors on  it   any sugestions    seen a few sets ob fleabay  price good until you read postage to aus more than the cost  of the headers    also     did you del the cat,,,any issues by not  running the cat,,,,  or run an after market  cat  cheers guys

    I would get another standard manifold and get it ceramic coated by these guys - http://www.performancecoating.com.au/
    Your car will run better without the cat. They stop working after about 40,000Kms and become a restriction to flow.
    It is best to still use the outer cat shell and just punch out the guts of it. That way it will still look like you have one when your car is inspected every year for rego.
